4-Day Tsavo East & Tsavo West Safari

Four days in Tsavo East and Tsavo West, Kenya's vast southern wilderness, known for its red-dust elephants and the legendary Man-Eaters of Tsavo.

Days 1 and 2: Nairobi to Tsavo East National Park

Pick-up and departure for Tsavo East National Park in southern Kenya, arriving in time for lunch. Game viewing from our 4x4 safari vehicle is a remarkable experience: huge herds of red-dust elephants come down to drink alongside buffalo, giraffe, cheetah, lion, waterbuck, impala, zebra, wildebeest, baboons and Maasai ostrich. Evening sunsets give you a true African sunset, surrounded by herds of elephants.

Overnight: Ashnil Aruba or similar.

Days 3 and 4: Tsavo West National Park

After breakfast we drive to Tsavo West National Park, with a game drive on the way to the lodge, arriving in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in this famous, historic park. Its story goes back to the building of the East African railway, when the famous Man-Eaters of Tsavo preyed on the workers. A visit to Mzima Springs is well worthwhile.

Overnight: Severin Safari Camp or similar, with dinner.
