We ensure that our clients are insured with RESCUE emergency air evacuation cover. Our tour guides are trained in first aid and emergency procedures, and we regularly clean and sanitize our vehicles and equipment, regularly maintained and fitted with safety belts, VHF and HF radio communication, speed governors, satellite tracked, and our vehicles are comprehensively insured
Additionally, we specialise in exclusive transport (non sharing) for an exquisite experience.

Insurance and Rescue
Question: Do I need to book Medical/Travel Insurance?
Answer: We highly recommend you book a medical cover/insurance from their country of origin. We are committed to excellence in every aspect of your trip experience, especially when it comes to safety and by that we have partnered with the RESCUE.CO who are the leading emergency air and land rescue provider in East Africa.
They offer field rescue from the point of your injury or illness. With operations centres staffed 24/7/365 by experienced personnel.
Luggage
Question: How much luggage should I carry?
Answer: Please ensure that your baggage is packed in soft bags and should weigh no more than 15 to a maximum of 20 kgs per person. It’s possible to store luggage during the safari either at your hotel if you are returning thereafter your trip or in our offices. Most lodges have laundry facilities at an extra charge.
On air safaris the maximum luggage allowance per person is strictly 15 kgs including hand luggage in soft bags. As the aircrafts are small the luggage space is limited.

Africa Calling Safaris carefully selects and partners with hotels/lodges/camps that are located in strategic locations – on the front row of wildlife concentration, best scenic views and best luxury beaches that offer the client/traveller maximum possibilities of game viewing and photographic activities located in the midst of the wilderness.
The properties are built within environmental blending materials and are environmentally friendly. They also practise eco-tourism, energy conservation and sustainability. I.e. They have embraced solar energy and reducing carbon footprints on our fragile eco system. Most of these properties also employ locals. So, as you travel with us, you will be creating and enhancing employment opportunities for the local people who neighbour tourism resources. Moreover, all the properties that we use are dedicated to buying produce from local stalls and markets and also making a range of traditional tasty meals. Guests might have the chance to order for an African specialty on request.
