The Big 5 Safari

The term “Big Five” originally coined by big-game hunters of the past to refer to the five most difficult and dangerous animals in Africa to hunt on foot.

They include the lion, leopard, rhinoceros, elephant, and buffalo. Today, they are more commonly and popularly associated with wildlife safaris and conservation efforts.

Traditional Walking Safaris

A traditional walking safari will usually be through big game areas where the focus of the walk includes both seeing animals in their natural habitats and learning about the ecology of the area you are exploring: in top destinations in East Africa.

These tours are led by either experienced guides or mountain bike instructors depending on your choice of extra activity.

Gorilla Trekking

A face-to-face encounter with these beautiful apes- the world’s most magnificent and endangered species, the mountain gorilla, in their primary natural habitats.

A hike to the tropical forests of Africa inside Rwanda’s/Uganda’s lush rainforest.

This activity is a one in a lifetime experience you should immerse yourself in. The young, rough and playful, the maternal grooming groups and keeping the family together and in check and the patriarchal giant silverback offering protection with a keen surveillance eye on the surrounding.

Off The Beaten Track Safaris

This is a popular way to explore East Africa’s hidden gems that are normally found in remote places with undeveloped roads that would be difficult to reach on your own.

Experience adventure, exhilaration, and fascination on board our Special Safari luxurious and fully equipped offroad 4×4 Landcruiser through East Africa’s most unique and beautiful destinations and untouched landscapes.

Our Land Cruisers are specialized converted safari vehicles and meet the required standards for wildlife viewing and comfort while on the African roads.

Our expertise has enabled us to engage with renowned entities such as National Geographic, BBC, Channel 5, Discovery Channel and the World Disney Company, in covering documentary films and photography in survival skills and scientific wildlife films since 2002 and have led several documentaries from across the globe. Some direct from National Geographic in Washington DC, and other major film production companies.

In Filming series and documentaries specifically, we have been privileged in organising and fixing many (refer to ‘Why We Are Different Section’) to mention a few like:

Migration Safaris

Enjoy an exclusive first-hand opportunity to see wildlife up close.

  • Every year, a mass Exodus of over a million wildebeests and zebras embark on a challenging quest for fresh, lush grass and water guided by the weather patterns and a natural instinct to survive; navigating through crocodile-infested waters along the way and land predators awaiting their imminent arrival. It’s a real-life drama of nature and you’ll have a front-row seat in our safari to view it all!
  • Every year, the magical humpback whales make the journey north from Antarctica, congregating off the Kenyan protected coastal areas in July and August as they seek warmer waters to give birth and mate. These whales travel almost 25,000 kilometres on their journey every year — more than half the distance around the Earth.

This a different kind of experience that will leave you in awe and wonder that is exhilarating and humbling to onlookers.
