This permit qualifies anyone above the age of 15 years to have a chance of interacting with this endangered species. Mountain gorilla tracking happens in only four specified regions of this national park, including Buhoma area, Rushaga region, Nkuringo, and Ruhija mountain gorilla tracking parts.

Buhoma Cultural tours

Visiting this national park offers you an opportunity to interact with the friendly locals of Bakiga and Batwa communities. We will organize a three hours cultural tour into these native villages. The locals here are so welcoming and willing to let you into their many cultural activities like traditional songs and dances. The taste of traditional banana beer, juice, and banana jin will awe you. Inside this village is a handicraft shop where carvings made out of wood, beeswax candles, and fabrics crafted by the locals are sold.
